Join U.S. Senator Al Franken’s Staff
At a College Affordability Resource Night event
Navigating the process for paying for college can be incredibly complicated. From applying to schools, determining how much each school will cost, filling out the FAFSA, understanding financial aid packages, and then ultimately paying for post secondary education, the process can be confusing for parents and students.
As a result, Senator Franken’s office is hosting ‘College Affordability Resource Nights’ at schools around the state so parents and students can:
- Learn how to save and pay for college from local college financial aid experts
- Get information on how to apply for federal financial aid and fill out the FAFSA
- Hear what is going on at the federal level regarding college affordability legislation
Senator Franken will use the input he receives from these meetings to help prepare him for ongoing debate on the critical issue of college affordability.
The meetings will be led by Senator Franken’s Minnesota Education Advisor, Dan Solomon.
Meetings are from 6:30-8:00 PM and are free and open to the public.
